The fillable design has 4 or 5 layers. The back is 3mm, the main drop in section is 18mm (you can now choose to have two of these to make the middle migger for larger chocolates), then the acrylic is placed in front of that followed by a 3mm mdf front frame. All of these mdf sections are cut from high density mdf leaving a clean finish with very little work required on the 18mm due to it's high quality.
The 3mm is laser cut leaving the blackened edges, but the 18mm is mitre cut so it does not have the darkened edge.
The acrylic has a protective film which will need to be removed before use. Only the front 3mm section includes the tail.
All sections arrive seperate from each other leaving you to easily decorate each section, add vinyl etc...and then glue together. To remove the eggs the item will need to be gently tipped upside down.
With one 18mm middle section the following chocolates have been tested: Lindt eggs, Mini Kinder, foil hearts. However, none of the mini Cadburys eggs range fit as they are wider than 18mm.
With two 18mm middle sections the centre becomes 36mm wide so many more types will fit.
We do not recommend putting any chocolates in that are not wrapped as any residue chocolate or shell that sticks inside will not be reachable once the item has been glued together.
